Another case for Sherlock “Rowlf” Holmes
It is strange that some Deeds of Gift, recently uploaded and “updated Jan 2025” on the official Class website , have coarse errors, forgetfulness and contradictions with the Class Rules, the Rules of Conduct and even with what was approved by the Board itself (at the end of the Decision Making Process). Some of them have changes from the original that were never proposed, discussed or approved.
In the last months of last year, a strange case happened.
Who has reviewed these Deeds of Gift? And above all why?
To carry out certain assignments you must have specific skills. It is not enough to be Board member (actually a former Board member who recently resigned) to arrogate certain assignments, which would be better, humbly, to leave to those who have competence and experience in that specific area.
The Deeds of Gift had already been seen, checked and edited by two people, on behalf of the Board, with wide knowledge and experience of the Class Rules and the RoC. Why was their work ignored? Why this useless and harmful involution?
Meanwhile, we are confident that the new Board and the new Technical Committee will be able to remedy this unfortunate situation.
Good night, and good luck.
